Philosophy of WIV:

The main objective of the Westminster International Varsity is to recognize and endorse prior learning and work experiences and convert them into Professional further higher educational diplomas including professional vocational degree qualifications, which would be accepted by all employers internationally. Work experiences and prior learning is considered with credit points to offer the Professional and Vocational Diplomas, which could be converted, to Professional Degree Qualifications.

Educational Standards:

WIV is the processing division of the ‘ UK Commission for Consistent Learning’ (UK CCL). UK CCL is one of Britain’s Independent Assessing, Examining and Validating Professional Institution and it operates internationally. These professional and vocational degrees are to motivate adult learners, who are seeking to enhance themselves to a professional level and to increase their career prospects and thus improve their opportunities. The Work Oriented Professional and Vocational Further Higher Educational Degree Diplomas would give working adults an opportunity of a non-campus and non-class room-type atmosphere to achieve a Professional and Vocational Qualification. The ultimate goal is to educate individuals and business organizations to provide a high standard of customer service in line with its Quality Mark Concept of CCL Quality Management Standards 2005. These awards will stimulate with creative thinking, customer care and satisfaction with effective skill development.

WIV with the assistance of UK CCL have facilitation with University of North West (UNW), who are USA registered Private University in accepting WIV as their “ ACCREDITATION CAMPUS” to offer their Professional Degree Qualifications on the recommendations of UK CCL, as UK CCL is their Independent Assessor, Examiner and Validator.

Vocational Degree through Accreditation of Career Progress Development (ACPD):

Unlike many traditional education systems, our role is not simply that of classroom oriented training. Rather, we strive to provide quality learning that is related tot eh cutting edge of research, industry and management practise. The opportunities CCL UK provides for individuals to progress in higher education at all levels of study including postgraduate programmes offered by the Affiliated Universities and Professional Membership with recognized Professional bodies.

Adults who seek an opportunity to enhance their career prospects can apply to come under the Accreditation of Career Progress Development scheme. ACPD could support your personal and professional development, with the Universities and Professional Bodies working as a consortium alongside CCL. This scheme would be very suitable for the busy working professional candidates who gave an abundance of knowledge, skill and ability. All candidates should possess evidence of this attainment / quality, before being considered for the award. Thus, high caliber and dynamic candidates, who have acquired and developed their skills through Career Progress Development programs, would be awarded professional degrees through the Accreditation of Career Progress Development (ACPD) scheme. In addition to the vast knowledge and expertise that they have acquired, the candidates would be required to submit a Project Paper in their area of work and expertise, to complete the final qualification.
